Pros: nothing is good about this excuse for a comedy
Cons: Another Eddie Murphy "family comedy" ehhh...
I can name only one good movie that Eddie has been in, Trading Places. After that movie every next movie gradually went down hill until we finally reach the bottom of the hill, the mother of all garbage: The Haunted Mansion.
This movie looked like an old haunted house ride where you go in and expect to be entertained and maybe a little scared and you come out wondering "why the hell do I keep going on these haunted house rides? They all suck.“ It is the same for every Eddie Murphy movie, I go in anxious and come out obtusely disappointed.
Eddie Murphy tries too hard to be this generation's Bill Cosby , sorry Eddie but I don't remember Bill ever getting caught trying to pick up a transvestite prostitute.
This movie is not worth seeing in the theater, this movie is not worth renting on DVD, the only time it's worth seeing this movie is in about 5 years when it will be Saturday’s special 8 o'clock movie presentation on UPN.
