Pros: A lot of action and a great story
Cons: The ending left me frustrated, you will have to see it for yourself.
Hidalgo is the new horse on the block mister ed, get lost. The days of talking horses are over. The new rage in Hollywood is to have horses race.
Lets face it folks, Hollywood LOVES horses. Hidalgo, sea biscuit, Sarah Jessica Parker...etc. Hollywood can't get enough of them. That, combined with Hollywoods second love, racing, makes this movie a winner.
From start to finish Hidalgo wins the race in the good movie derby. Shooting, sexual tension, romance, dirty cowboy clothing, bad hygiene. This movie has it all. This movie is Aladdin meets John Wayne, and without all that uncomfortable Robin Williams voice acting.
If there is only one movie about a half Indian cowboy who races in the middle east you can see this year, make it this one...or don’t. I don't really care, what am I your mother? Do what you want!
