I went into the theater expecting to see an ending to my favorite movie trilogy, I ended up watching a homo-erotic dungeons and dragons.
This movie left me wondering what the director was thinking. In one scene of the movie Frodo and Gandalf are sharing a horse and Frodo is ridding in the front. Gandalf has his hands around Frodo’s waist and his chin is on Frodo’s head. In another scene Gandalf kisses Saruman on the forehead right before he stabs his staff into saruman's chest, I guess it was like the kiss of death. Saruman died but it left me wondering if this movie is part of a mass Hollywood conspiracy to turn our children gay.
After Frodo dies from jumping right into the huge eye from a griffin and every body rejoices and the world is saved the movie still goes on for 20 minutes. I found that not necessary. There was a big party in middle earth and all the good creatures came out and there was happy music playing. They should have cut this particular scene into about 3 minutes rather than the 20.
Also I didn't understand what happened after that elf girl who the dude was in love with got stabbed by an orc. Did she die? Anyway all in all it was a pretty good movie.
