Pros: Great action
Cons: Not much effort put into the script
Russell Crowe plays the same role as he did in gladiator except in tights rather than a skirt. This movie follows Russell Crowe, a naval sea captain with an anger problem on a quest around the world. Most of the movie takes place on a ship so not much money was spent on location design.
Russell Crowe wears a blond wig and looks like Leonardo Dicaprio on steroids but that aside this movie still manages to be good. The action/fighting scenes are nothing short of amazing (is that a stunt double or is Russell Crowe a grand master shaolin monk?)
Explosion after explosion all take place on one ship, by my calculations after the 10th explosion the ship should be in pieces. A lot of things in this movie aren't accurate but hey who needs laws of physics when you got Russell Crowe in tights! right ladies? right?! Aww forget it... anyway this is a fun action movie and you should see it.
